The final results of Pakistan’s general elections on Thursday are not yet complete. The vote count mysteriously stopped in the twilight hours of Friday as the Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf (PTI) of ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan appeared headed for a decisive victory.
When the official results started coming in on Friday morning, the vote count dramatically and inexplicably flipped in key constituencies in favor of PTI’s rivals.
The Pakistan Army is interfering in the vote count. Its primary aim is to deny the PTI the ability to form a government at the center and in the province of Punjab.
