(2) Michigan State takes on (15) Bryant in one of the final first-round games of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Bryant last made the tournament in 2022, back when it was part of the NEC. Now, the Bulldogs are making their first appearance since joining the America East — where they’ve quickly emerged as a dominant program.
Rafael Pinzon and Earl Timberlake bring plenty of offensive firepower for Bryant. But dominating the America East is one thing, and going up against the Big Ten’s best is another — and Michigan State proved itself at the top of that conference.
This is the highest seed Tom Izzo’s Spartans have earned since 2019 — and it’s not one they intend to waste. Expect Michigan State to take care of business tonight and move on to face New Mexico on Sunday.
