The Weeknd returns to the New York metro area with a blockbuster three-night run at MetLife Stadium, performing Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as part of his acclaimed After Hours til Dawn tour.
Each night’s show — featuring Playboi Carti and producer Mike Dean as openers — promises a full-scale arena experience, complete with futuristic visuals, explosive lighting, and a genre-mixing setlist that spans The Weeknd’s entire career.
Shows begin at 7:00 PM sharp all three nights.
The weather couldn’t be better for most of the remainder of this week — with he possible exception of Saturday. Evening temperatures are expected to hover in the 70s with no rain in the forecast for Thursday and Friday, making it ideal for an open-air stadium concert.
Rain, however, is a possibility for Saturday — though showers could pass before showtime.
What to Expect
With songs like “Blinding Lights,” “Starboy,” and “Take My Breath,” The Weeknd delivers a set that’s both cinematic and emotionally charged. Backed by cutting-edge stage design and LED-heavy visuals, the show has drawn massive crowds at every stop on the tour.
Fans can also look forward to Playboi Carti’s electrifying performance — a chaotic, high-energy set that’s become legendary in its own right. Mike Dean’s opening set adds an atmospheric, synth-heavy vibe that sets the tone.
Getting to MetLife Stadium from NYC
MetLife Stadium, located in East Rutherford, NJ, is about a half hour drive from midtown Manhattan.
Expect heavy rush-hour traffic for the weekday shows. Rideshare or carpooling is the way to go.
The most convenient way to get to the stadium from Manhattan is the train. Take NJ Transit from Penn Station to Secaucus Junction. It’s just one stop. At Secaucus Junction, go upstairs to the mezzanine and show your rail ticket to the staff at the gates. Trains on the BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line to the stadium leave from Tracks E-H on the lower level.
