Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are spending tonight in Nevada.
The state has a mere six electoral votes, but with the race effectively tied nationally and in seven battleground states, including Nevada, even small blocks of electoral votes matter in the race to 270.
A mere 0.3 percent separates the two candidates in Nevada, according to the FiveThirtyEight average of polls.
Hispanics make up over 20 percent of the electorate in Nevada. Nationally and in Nevada, Trump has made inroads with Hispanic men, though it’s unclear whether the bigoted remarks made at his rally at New York’s Madison Square Garden, including ones directed at Puerto Ricans, have reversed those gains.
The Harris campaign is going all out deploying its army of celebrity endorsers. Last week, Beyoncé headlined a Harris rally in Houston, TX. Tonight, the vice president will be joined by actress and singer Jennifer Lopez, who was born in the Bronx to Puerto Rican parents.
