Looking to watch today’s NFL Christmas games? If you don’t have Netflix, you may be out of luck.
There are two NFL games today: the Kansas City Chiefs versus the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1:00 PM Eastern and the Baltimore Ravens versus the Houston Texans at 4:30 PM Eastern.
These games — and a special performance by Beyoncé — will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix for national viewers.
Now, if you’re a local viewer, you’re in luck: you can watch your home team’s game on your local CBS station.
(More details on regional broadcasts and the Beyoncé performance below.)
Game 1 Preview: Chiefs vs. Steelers
The 14-1 Chiefs are looking to clinch the AFC No. 1 seed and secure a first-round bye and home-field advantage. They can achieve that on Wednesday with a win — or with a Buffalo Bills loss or tie on Sunday.
The 10-5 Steelers are in a battle for the AFC North crown with the Ravens, who play in the next game. Both teams are playoff-bound.
If the Steelers lose, they could face off against the Chiefs again in the AFC divisional round.
Today’s matchup between Patrick Mahomes and a revitalized Russell Wilson is undoubtedly worthy of a Christmas timeslot.
Time: 1:00 PM Eastern
TV and Streaming Broadcast: Netflix (National), KCTV5 (Kansas City), KDKA-TV (Pittsburgh), NFL+ (Mobile-Only), NFL Game Pass International (Outside the U.S.)
Game 2 Preview: Ravens vs. Texans
The 9-6 Texans have clinched the AFC South, but like the Ravens, they are playing for playoff position. They’re currently the fourth seed in the AFC bracket. But could secure third place if they match Ravens’ and Steelers’ losses with wins over the next two weeks.
The Texans boast a top-tier defense but will have their hands full against the dual-threat Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, who is contending for a third MVP season. Texans QB C.J. Stroud will have to grapple with the loss of wide receiver Tank Dell to a dislocated knee. The Texans bolstered their passing attack by claiming WR Diontae Johnson on Monday, just days after the Ravens waived him.
Time: 4:30 PM Eastern
TV and Streaming Broadcast: Netflix (National), WJZ-TV (Baltimore), KHOU 11 (Houston), NFL+ (Mobile-Only), NFL Game Pass International (Outside the U.S.)
Beyoncé Performs
The Houston-born Beyoncé will perform during the halftime of the second game at NRG Stadium. Expect it to take place somewhere around 6:00 PM Eastern. Beyoncé will likely perform “Texas Hold ‘Em” and other hit songs from her latest album, “Cowboy Carter.”
The halftime show can be watched on Netflix. Local viewers in Baltimore and Houston, as well as NFL+ and NFL Game International subscribers, can also watch it on their respective broadcasts.
If you’re there in person, you can experience a wonderful Christmas treat: a live Beyoncé performance, alongside an exciting football game. Tickets are still available here.
