The 2025 NBA Draft Lottery has concluded, and the Dallas Mavericks have secured the No. 1 overall selection.
The Mavericks — who had just a 1.8% chance to win the lottery — are now positioned to select Cooper Flagg, the unanimous favorite to go No. 1 in this year’s draft. Flagg may be the type of star Dallas needs to revive its franchise and replace superstar Luka Doncic.
The biggest winner of the night may be Nico Harrison, the Mavericks’ general manager, who has been on the receiving end of fan fury after the trade of Doncic.
Here’s the full draft lottery order, along with a preview of who else could be taken in the top five.
