The 2025 NBA Playoffs continue to deliver drama. The Oklahoma City Thunder answered back on Friday night, clawing past the Indiana Pacers 111–104 on the road to tie the NBA Finals at 2–2.
After Indiana’s resilience stunned OKC in Game 3, the Thunder proved once again why they’ve bounced back after every playoff loss. Now, the Finals head back to Oklahoma City for a pivotal Game 5 on Monday night.
Before looking ahead, here’s the bracket update and a detailed look at how Game 4 swung back in the Thunder’s favor.
Updated 2025 NBA Playoff Bracket
Four games into the NBA Finals, the series is tied at two games apiece.
That should be no surprise given that both the Pacers and the Thunder have bounced back after losses throughout the playoffs. It’s a recipe for a seven-game series. The Thunder have already been through one.

Friday, June 13 — NBA Finals Game 4 Recap
Oklahoma City Thunder 111, Indiana Pacers 104
NBA Finals series tied 2–2
The Pacers led for the entire second half, until they didn’t. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hit a 15-foot step-back jumper to put the Thunder up 104-103 with 2:23 left in the fourth to give OKC its first lead of the second half.
It was his seventh consecutive point for the Thunder, part of a closing stretch of the game that saw the Pacers miss three free throws and several open field goal attempts.
Obi Toppin’s cutting dunk with two minutes left in the third put the Pacers up by 10 — their largest lead of the game. And it looked like Indiana was about to close out another win. But then the Pacers went cold from the field and began to miss free throws.
Indiana shot just 27.8% from the field in the fourth quarter and made just four rebounds, while OKC made 60% of field goal attempts and grabbed 12 boards, including four on offense.
The Pacers held SGA to just 20 points in the first three quarters. He was on pace for another sub-30-point night. But he broke out in the fourth, scoring 15 points and finishing the game with 35.
The Pacers’ bench came through with 36 points, led by Toppin, who scored 18. But Alex Caruso was equally pivotal for the Thunder, putting up 20 points on 7 of 9 shooting. The streaky Jalen Williams also had a solid game, scoring 27 points. Like SGA, he was perfect from the free-throw line, making 11 out of 11 attempts.
Chet Holmgren scored 14 points for the Thunder. But his defense, both in the perimeter and the paint, was just as critical — especially in the final minutes.
With this win, OKC again shows that no lead is safe, especially against them. The Finals shift back to Paycom Center on Monday night.
Next Game: Monday, June 16, 2025, 8:30 PM Eastern, Paycom Center, Oklahoma City, OK
Series Prediction: Thunder in seven.
