Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic face off on Friday in the 2025 U.S. Open semifinals. The late afternoon match promises to be a must-see clash of generations.
Djokovic is indisputably one of the greatest players of all time. And Alcaraz is very much on the same path, already with five Grand Slam titles at just 22 years old.
The 38-year-old Djokovic owns 24 Grand Slam trophies, and he’s pushing for yet another at the twilight of his phenomenal career.
On Arthur Ashe Stadium tomorrow afternoon, it won’t just be a meeting of two of tennis’ biggest stars — it will also be where two eras collide: with the last man standing from the Big Three against one half of today’s new Big Two.
2025 U.S. Open Men’s Semifinals Tickets
The Alcaraz–Djokovic semifinal will begin no earlier than 3:00 PM Eastern, following the women’s doubles final featuring American Taylor Townsend with Katerina Siniakova against Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe.
The other men’s semifinal — Jannik Sinner vs. Felix Auger-Aliassime — takes place in the night session, with separate admission required for each session.
Tickets for the day session, which includes the Alcaraz–Djokovic match, start at $900, including fees. It’s a steep price, but fans will be treated to a once-in-a-generation spectacle. This could even be Djokovic’s last great battle in New York City.
