How to Watch Auburn vs. Tennessee in the SEC Semis

Auburn takes on Tennessee this afternoon in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament after yesterday’s 62-57 win over Ole Miss.

Unsurprisingly, Johni Broome, the Sporting News National Player of the Year, led the way with 23 points and 15 rebounds. The Tigers stepped up their defense yesterday, shutting down Ole Miss’s offense, holding them to just 22 points in the first half.

Tennesee is coming off a dominant 83-72 win over Texas last night with Chaz Lanier — a potential 2025 NBA Draft second-round pick — leading the volunteers in scoring with 23 points. Zakai Zeigler, one of the top point guards in the country, also came up big with 19 points and six assists.

The Tigers and Volunteers faced off once earlier this season, with Auburn narrowly winning 53-51 on a three-pointer by Miles Kelly with just 30 seconds left.

Broome led Auburn with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Their January matchup was a defensive battle, with both teams shooting around 30% from the field in a low-scoring game. In the first half, they combined to miss 20 of 21 three-point attempts.
