The evening session of the NCAA Tournament’s first round continues with (3) Kentucky taking on (14) Troy.
Troy, making its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2017, is unlikely to pull off an upset tonight. Kentucky finished the season 22–11 — a solid record in the tough SEC. Four of those losses came against Alabama and Auburn.
Junior Otega Oweh, the Wildcats’ leading scorer, is efficient from the field and a reliable threat from beyond the arc. Expect a strong performance from him tonight. The Trojans won’t be a pushover, so Kentucky will need to come in focused and ready.
