The Los Angeles Sparks look to reignite a winning streak tonight in Texas as they face the Dallas Wings at College Park Center.
The Sparks fell 105–97 at home to the New York Liberty on Tuesday, but they’ve still won nine of their last 12 games, powered by Kelsey Plum’s offensive firepower.
Plum ranks fourth in the league in scoring at 20 points per game and is third in assists with 6.1 per contest. Dearica Hamby adds elite midrange efficiency, keeping defenses stretched.
Dallas has struggled more than usual as of late, losing five of their last six games, and continues to battle injuries.
In their first meeting on June 5, Los Angeles won 93–79 behind 21 points from Azurá Stevens and nine assists from Plum. The Sparks remain in strong form, getting balanced production from Plum, Hamby, Stevens, and Rickea Jackson.
The Wings are shorthanded without Arike Ogunbowale and Tyasha Harris. That lack of backcourt firepower makes it tough to keep pace. If Paige Bueckers gets hot and Dallas controls the glass, they can make it competitive — but Los Angeles’ depth, rhythm, and shooting efficiency make them the favorites.
Expect an easy win for the Sparks.
Prediction: Los Angeles Sparks 88, Dallas Wings 79
